by Global Payments Gaming Team / October 16, 2020

Global Payments Gaming Solutions has partnered with Penn Interactive, a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming, Inc., to provide Global Payments’ iGaming solutions, specifically online betting, to support the new Barstool Sportsbook mobile app that officially launched in Pennsylvania on September 18. With the help of Global Payments, Penn Interactive is delivering a fun and engaging experience to the sportsbook app’s users straight from their smart devices, shaping the future of sports betting to come.

The iGaming solutions connect the online and brick and mortar gaming experiences through a multi-channel approach, simplifying the process of account funding with Global Payment Gaming Solution’s VIP LightSpeed® platform. Combined with the VIP Preferred® e-check network, guests are empowered to effortlessly access funds from their checking account in a seamless, frictionless manner.

“The Barstool Sportsbook app has been well received by Penn National’s customers,” said Christopher Justice, president, Global Payments Gaming Solutions. “We are pleased to be a part of this key initiative as the industry ushers in a new era in sports betting that prioritizes convenience and flexibility while giving users a superior, modern gaming experience.”

A leader in the gaming space, Global Payments’ sports betting technology will support the Barstool Sportsbook app in future launches across additional states as the product is introduced across Penn National’s leading customer loyalty program, mychoice®, with 20 million casino customers and Barstool's audience of over 66 million loyal fans.
