Tipico Taps Global Payments Gaming Solutions for Online Sports Betting

by Global Payments Gaming Team / January 21, 2021

As one of the top sports betting companies worldwide, Tipico has selected Global Payments Gaming Solutions to advance its online sports betting offerings. Through this partnership, Tipico has integrated the sports betting feature from Global Payments’ iGaming solutions within its platform, positioning Tipico to extend their U.S.-based online sports betting offerings to deliver an enhanced gaming experience to its sportsbook app users via their smart devices.

Founded in 2004, the global sportsbook operator offers digital and mobile betting across 30 different sports with odds managed by Tipico’s in-house trading team. Inspired by decades of experience as an international leader in the sports betting and mobile iGaming space, Tipico has built a new and proprietary online sportsbook offering that is customized for avid sports betters in the U.S. Tipico’s sportsbook currently operates in New Jersey, with plans to go live in Colorado in the coming months.

Global Payments’ sports betting technology allows Tipico to leverage ACH guaranteed services, enabling players to electronically fund their bets and get real time access to their winnings using their “on file” checking accounts. Global Payments’ VIP Lightspeed® platform powers funding and withdrawals for online sports betting, while VIP Preferred® e-check network enables users to quickly access funds from their checking account in a seamless, frictionless manner.

“Partnering with Global Payments will offer our customers in New Jersey an enhanced, seamless experience when placing bets through the Tipico app,” said Allen Ambrogio, Director of Operations, U.S. Business, Tipico. “The use of Global Payments’ iGaming Solutions will help us continue to provide the high-quality consumer experience that users have come to expect from Tipico, and we look forward to working with the team as we continue to expand our offerings in 2021 to Colorado and other states.
